Muscle Warriors power chair football team continue to benefit from the support of the Foundation - Muscle Warriors is a Hertfordshire based organisation promotes awareness of muscular dystrophy across the UK and does amazing work allowing people suffering with this condition to take part in sport.
Funds provided by the Foundation enabled 80 children from Hackney to enjoy a couple of weeks residential activity holiday in Anglesey. The children whose social and/or financial circumstances would not ordinarily allow this experience were able to make new friends and learn new skills - and crucially have FUN
The Foundation's support enabled volunteer coaches to hold fun sessions for over 500 state school kids during 2018
A grant from the Foundation enabled Eastbourne Cricket Club to continue their Forward Drive initiative which gives fee sports sessions to kids aged between 4 - 11 between January & September
Youth on the Move empowers youths aged 11-16 in the deprived London boroughs Hackney, Haringey and Barnet to reach their fullest potential through a wide range of services. They provide them with a number of enrichment programs including team sports and activities to help shape their identities and prepare them for life.
KEEN are a London based charity that provides one to one support at free sports and activity sessions for children with additional needs. The Lillywhite Foundation is delighted to have made a grant to KEEN and assisted this fantastic cause.
Leonard Cheshire is a UK wide charity that support individuals to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability. One area that Lillywhite Foundation has supported is funds for young people to take part in sports & activity.
